what do i say when someone dies?

Talking about what has happened and how you are feeling is a really important way to manage what has happened and to express yourself. But it is hard to know what to say and to who. Think about your family, friends, and neighbours. Who would you like to talk to? Who do you feel might understand? It could be a parent or a brother or sister, a carer or a close family member, a friend of the family or the mother of a good friend. If you go to a church or a temple then there might be someone there who you could talk to. What about talking to a teacher at school? Hopefully there will be someone who you feel that you can trust to turn to, have a look at the different pages in the 'talking' section, if you would rather talk to someone in confidence who doesn't know you there is also a page on talking to someone in confidence.
