personaltalking to parentsTalking to a parent or carer can be an important part of your grieving process. If the person who has died was a family member then your whole family will be grieving and everyone will be feeling upset by the loss. If you want to you could ask a parent or carer to include you in things. If you would like to see the body, or go to the funeral then you could chose someone in the family or perhaps a friend of the family to tell this to, or to ask them to help you during this period. After the funeral you can visit the grave with your friends and family and this will help you to grieve. You can talk to your family about the person, what they were like, things that they like to do or things that made them laugh. Sometime its good to do things as a family to remember the person. Perhaps you could make a photo album, or do specific things to remember them on anniversaries and special days. « back |
