write a letter to the person who died

You could write the person who died a letter telling them everything you did not get the chance to tell them before their death. This could be anything from an apology to questions that you may never have got the chance to ask. You could use the letter simply to tell the person what you have been doing since you last spoke to them, as a way of feeling closer to them. If it is still possible, you might want to put the letter in the coffin with them, or maybe read it to them at their grave. You may even want to keep the letter to reread to yourself when you are feeling sad and want to remember the person who has died. It is up to you.
