balloon messages

If you want to say something to the person who died you could make a balloon message to them. If you can get a biodegradable helium balloon you could write messages to the person who has died on it, or attach messages to it with a piece of string. You could even put the messages inside the balloon before you blow it up. When you let the balloon go you may also want to make a special ritual in order to make the occasion more personal to you. You might like to read out a poem you have written, sing a song, read aloud your messages, or just count down from 3 to 1 before you release your balloon. This way of communicating with the person who died can help you to visually show your desire to reach out to them. It is also a good opportunity to literally 'let go' of your feelings and wishes that you were unable to tell the person before they died.
