my dad was such a lovin n carin person he wud neva shout or hurt me ...he had a heart of gold.my mum n dad split up wen i was 7 years old and because ive always bin a daddys lil gurl ive always seemed to love my dad just that lil bit more than my mum it may sound awful but thats tha way i felt. i only got 2 c my dad once every week on a saturday and i spent xmas eve and new year with him and he used 2 cum bak 2 my house on xmas day until my mum met her new boyfriend i absolutley h8ed him as awful as it may sound but i did my mum always stuck up 4 im wen i did a lil thing wrong but ma dad neva did.a few years l8er ma mum had a baby with her boyfriend my new lil brother james i was glad that i hav a baby bro as i dont get along with my eldset 1 bcoz es 17 and hes out all the time now!.....so everything was ok in my life so far until ma dad he...he got a lump on his neck,we all used 2 joke with him callin him a lizard and makin fun but he laughed along with it and made fun of himself until he went to the hospital 2 the lump removed the doctors sed they r gunna play about with his lump 2 see wat it really is.one night when i went to my auntie ingrids house (my dads other ssetrs.....my dad and my auntie r exactly the same shes the best) my dad told me and my brother taht the doctors told him he had cancer i broke in2 tears an cried 4 hours. then things started to happen he collasped like 3 times a day he got rashes and he bagan 2 go pale and then VERY VERY VERY Sskinny he then had 2 start goin 2 hospital and stayin there 4 hours then days then weeks then months and he became even worse. i h8ed leavin him at the hospital he wud giv me n ma brother a kiss and a hug and id jus feel so awful leavin him with all those tubes and wires cuming in and out of his body.and then he began 2 get eatin and puttin on weight he wa walkin round every where even though he was still bad.....then one day i was at my grandmas house ma dads mum ..and ma dad was there he wasnt in hospital but he still has his walkin stick his legs were really swollen they were HUGE but ma dad told me that the doctors are goin to drain them so i was so happy because he was gettin better that day wen i had 2 go home i gave my dad a hug and a kiss and told him i loved him then meand my brother got in a taxi and waved bi.....a couple days l8er i came home frm skool and it was gettin late near ma bed time wen some1 was knocking at ma door i answered it and it was my aunite ingrid and my step mum they smiled and came in and sat me down with my mum and sed "ANNA DARLIN YOUR DAD DIED THIS AFTERNOON" i couldnt breathe i couldnt even cry with the shock i just stood up walked up stairs ran in2 my mums room and totally flipped i wa punchin the mirros swearing and gettin out of control my mum almost had 2 pin me down and she hugged me 4 ages.....my brother was at his football match at the time with my step dad wen he came home we didnt have to tel him beacuse he cud see how bad i had bin cryin and how red my face was and the fact i was holdin a picture of my dad he broke in2 tears and ie never ever seen my brother cry before and when i though about it when i looked at my brother i realised how much he had done he took money out of his own pocket 4 me 2 see my dad when he needed 2 go 2 work 2 get money he skipped it jus 2 take me there and i was so gr8ful 2 have a brother like him and now we are the best of friends but i still have arguments with mt stepdad but my brother always helps me with that. my dad had a wonderful funeral and had his ashes scattered in the hollies which is a big woods woth wild flowers and rivers a place my dad loved and took us when me n ma bro was lil. to our dear dad a memory fond and true in our hearts you live forever we thought the world of you...good night dad god bless all our love and kisses frm anna and john xxxxxx
