When I Became The Past

Louise

I guess it was destiny,
The way it was gonna be.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this,
It just got too much for me.

My life could not go on like this
And it broke my heart to know
That I wouldn’t see you again for a while
I’m sorry, but I had to go.

And although our group is broken,
and nothing feels the same
we’ll all get called one by one
To join up our group again.

And it hurt you all when you found out,
That yesterday was my very last,
For last night I said goodbye to the world,
And I became the past.

I knew that when I left you
It’d make you shed a tear,
But don’t feel too hurt and lonely, please,
‘Cos in your heart, I’ll always be near

I’m sorry for this mess I’ve caused
But you’re still inside my heart,
I’ll always love you, for ever and ever,
Even though we’re so far apart

One day we’ll be together again,
But until that time, goodbye
And I’ll always be watching over you,
From a place high up in the sky.

My friend unfortunately passed away just over two months ago, at the age of 15, and I wrote this poem in the perspective of the amzing guy. I know hes watching over me and everyone else right now. I still love you xxxxx
