I Love You Mum!

Of all the mums in the world, I am proud to be able to say
My mum is one in a million and I miss her more each day

I can’t believe that she’s gone, it has come as such a shock
There’s so much I want to tell her, I wish I could turn back the clock

From being a little girl, she taught me right from wrong
No matter what mistakes I made, her love for me stayed strong

A beautiful, caring lady, so gentle and very kind
Well liked and loved by everyone, she’s sadly left behind

My mum is my true best friend, she has never let me down
So I’m writing this poem with love for her, as my tears begin to drown

Although I cannot see her, I’ll keep her locked in my heart
As I’m finding it hard to carry on, now we’ve been torn apart

Mum I’ll keep those precious memories, your love will be my guide
Until we meet again someday, I need you by my side!
