Now that you're gone
Emily
Now that you're gone, I can no longer see you but I still look for you,
I can still feel your hand on mine as you took your last breath,
I remember your last words of courage to us, 'no tears' you said
Your face is slowly fading from my memories, your voice growing weaker in my mind,
we know that you love us though even though you're no longer around,
and I'll always remember you Grandma,
we know you're happy now.
