In Loving Memory of My Nan

by Helen - Jul 07

When Heaven calls an angel, it doesn’t know the pain
Heaven didn’t realise our life would never be the same
Your back in the arms of grandad the man you loved so dear
We wish this was a dream and you would still be here

You are a mum, a nan but most your our best friend
Our hearts are empty, broken and will definitely never mend
That day we’ll never forget, closing your eyes and gone
But I promise you Nan, your memories will always live on

We all sit and wonder and ask ourselves…..WHY?
Wiping away our tears as we continuously cry
Nan you are a diamond and your simply the best
We say our final farewells as we lay you to rest.
