Why did you take her away?
Why did you let her go?
It was too soon to say goodbye,
I never got to show.
Ive kept my feelings locked up inside,
Now im ready to explode,
I was too young to loose my mother,
So my feelings never showed.
Why did you think it was just ok,
to take my escape away?
Didnt you think that later on in life,
i would need her more each day?
I regret not knowing her more,
I regret not wanting to chat,
only now i know how much i love her,
i wish i had told her that.
Why did you have to choose her?
Why did you destroy my mum?
How could you think it would be alright,
to let her slip and run?
You wouldnt let your angels fly,
or let your north star fall,
So why did you take her away from me,
Its just my mother after all.
