I had the chance to tell you,
I love you and always would.
You said you loved me with all your heart,
And had fought all that you could.
I could see that you were tired,
And that you had tried your best.
Like always you wanted to be perfect,
Although it was time to rest.
The time came for you to go,
And leave us all alone.
You have gone to a nicer place,
A new place to call your home.
Now your home’s in heaven,
And there you'll always be.
You’re in my heart and my soul,
You mean the world to me.
A brilliant Nan is what you are,
Its now time for us to part.
