Grandad; JOHN JAMES CANNON

by Cloeh - 31 Aug 06

You will be colour coding rainbows
And straigtening the moon
Listening to the angels
And keeping them in tune

Perhaps one day God will tell us why?
Why He broke our hearts & let you die!

But God must've seen you getting tierd
And realized a cure was not to be!
So He wrapped his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me!"

Your dearest memories
Are all edged with gold
Because we love you so much
It can never be told.

So please God put your arms around Him,
And hold him for a while!
Tell him that we love him
And watch his big, bright smile.

When we seen you sleeping,
So peaceful & free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

We will love you & miss you
Each passing day.
But when we get our wings
We'll be flying your way!!!
