Star of the show
I’ve realized now it’s time for her to leave,
She can hardly see, hear of speak.
Her life is worthless no reason to live.
There isn’t much more she could possibly give.
No recollection of her family,
No thoughts or dreams.
The tumors keep coming, they won’t go
Just like winter’s rain and snow.
Dignity is a thing of the past
As are her giggles smiles and laughs.
Her family struggle to cope day by day
Is it necessary for her to stay?
Everyone loved Paula,
But now she’s gone
There’s just a vegetable left in her place.
Her mind and soul are floating around in space.
She needs her dad that’s where she belongs,
To be happy and free, singing her songs.
She’s had enough of life and wants to go away
Deep down inside I know she’ll be okay.
Her leaving us soon is probably best,
Finally, maybe she will be able to rest.
