Dad

From: Anna

Daddy will you ever know
How much you helped me learn and grow?
From heaven, can you look down to see
the way I strive everyday to be
s strong and brave as you seemed to me?

Dad will you ever understand
All of the dreams for us that I had planned?
You were supposed to give me away
To my true love on my wedding day
You and mum were to grow old and gray
But there's nothing I could do or say
To cure you or to make you stay

Daddy, I send this wish out into space
Holding your memory, picturing your face
I pray you know how much I adore and love
Being your daughter, even though you're up above
One day I hope to hear you say
"I'm so proud of you, you did okay"

-To my brave daddy...i loved being your little girl, you are my forever life
