i know exactly how u feel jodie, its been 6months now since my dad past away and i am finding xmas and new year VERY hard,i just hope we both find something that makes us at least a little bit happier in the new year even though im feeling like there is no point in a new year,i can't wait to see my dad again.

i also lost my dad, 2 and a bit yrs ago. this has been the 2nd xmas since he hasn't been here and it's not any easier yet.
big times of the yr when families are meant to be the happiest such as xmas are the hardest times.
just try and remember the good times you had and talk to other family members. it's the best you can do :) x

i just wanted to say thank you for your replys it has been a really tough time for me and i have had a very hard time trying to cope sharing my experience with other people on this site and getting to share other peoples experiences makes me feel like i'm not so alone and has helped me so than you x
