Subject: i lost my nan

i lost my nan about a month ago! She had cancer and we knew she wasnt gonna stay with us for long. i spent eery momment i could with her! but 2 dayz before she died she couldnt talk. it was like he was in a coma! it was awfull. everyone stood around her bed crying and i had never seen my pop so upset. she passed away 5 oclockam on the 23 of may 2005! that morning mum and i went and saw nan lying in her bed (she passed away at home) peacfully from pain! ever since then it has been a hard journey. my mum has been showing her grieving with anger! and i sit at school and cry. the teachers try to help. but i only want my nan!

Hi, i feel very much for you and I kno how you're feeling, my grandad died from cancer a few years ago and it was awful. All I could think about was how much I wanted him back and I still think about that now. This feeling never goes away but believe me it does get easier to cope with, time is a healer in many ways. You never get over the death of someone but you learn to cope and you get stronger, try and remember all the positive things you and your nan did together, would she want you to be sad?? and dont worry about crying, sometimes it helps to. Also never feel like you are on your own because there is always someone there for you.
