Subject:Mother Day blues...

Hi Jean-Marie & anyone else out there missing their Mum's. I'm a Youth Worker searching for cool websites for the young people I work with when I came accross this one & as I lost my Mum to cancer when I was 13 I thought I leave a message. Hope you don't mind? Well as I said my Mum died when I was 13 & I'm now 30 (old I know!!) & all I can say is be strong. Your Mums are still with you, in the memories you have & in your heart & that can never be taken away. I still miss my Mum, everyday I think of her & on Mothers Day I always get upset & cry (even though I'm getting old...) but I still buy her flowers & put them next to a picture I have of her in my living room. It helps me to remember the good times we had & let her know that no matter how old I am I still love her. Maybe you could think of doing something like this, it might help you never know. Keep stong cos your Mum's would want you to be brave & live your lives to the full & it will get easier as time goes on, I speak from experience... Best wishes, Lucy x

Subject:mother's day & father's day

Hey,
I know exactly how you feel - the same emotions went thru me after my Dad died, seeing all the father's day cards in all the shops - they seemed to be EVERYWHERE. I hope you got thru the day OK, & are feeling a little better now.
Did u do anything special at all on the day? Maybe with family or friends?
Keep posting,
Hugs,
Han xx

Subject: Thinking of you

Hi Carla
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Dad to suicide too on 14th April 2005 and it is really hard to deal with. Try to talk to people who are willing to listen, it does make it easier. Most people will understand that things are really tough right now. I'm thinking about you, take care.
