Subject: The love of my life

My boyfriend Mark died in a car accident 6 weeks ago. I only knew him for nine months and we only dated for three months, but I knew from the time we started dating that he was the one. We both knew we would get married some day. I miss him so much. It is so hard to lose someone unexpectedly, especially when you were so excited about your future together. I don't know how I will ever get over him and I am afraid that I will never find a man as sweet, kind, and generous as Mark. I feel so alone right now.

Subject:So sorry

Hi Whitney,
So sorry to hear about your Boyfriend - it must be so hard for you to have lost the person you hoped to share your life with. It is important to always remember how good he was to you, & the things you shared - a memory box is something you can put together to always help you remember the good times, with photos, presents he gave you, tickets from places/events... all sorts - every time you feel lonely you can look in the box & be reminded of those happy times.

Remember too that I'm sure he wouldn't want you to be lonely, & that one day you will find someone else who will take care of you & make you happy. But first take time, & talk lots about him to your friends who knew him & your family - talking helps ease the pain & keep the memories alive.

Hugs,
Han xxx

Subject:Thanks for your support

Han, thank you for your words of encouragement...every little bit of support that I get helps. I'm doing a little better now, but my heart still aches when I think about Mark. For everyone out there who has lost someone they love, find a support system, whether it be friends, family, or counseling. I never would have made it through the last 3 months without those things. Love and God Bless~ Whitney
