Subject: Dad hung himself

My dad was 34 years old and he hung himself in his garade and the last word i said to him was good bye and turned around and walked into the house

Two weeks later i heard that he had died then 4 days later i read in a newspaper that he hung himself in his garage his furneral is on the 23rd of january 2005

I was so sorry to hear about your dad, i lost my dad in a freak motercycle accident over two years ago, so i know sort of how it feels to lose someone. Al the best for the future, keep looking up, if you have any family, i dont know how old you are but try and support them too. Hey Victoria,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, I am thinking about you and hope that you’re ok.
My story is similar to you; on 27th Jan 2004 I came home from school and found my mum hanging in the garage.
There isn’t much I can say to make it any easier, but I am here if you want to post a reply and talk to me or ask anything.
Also if you read through the message board you will find more posts from me and other young people who have lost a parent to suicide which might help you.

I know how u feel i avnt told most people and i av nava heard of dis site til 1 ov me teachas told me bout it. My dad jumped imfront of a train on the 6th september 2004 i woz onli 12 it apnd 3 days b4 me bday nd on his bruvas birthday. we ad him cremated on the 27th of sep nd scattered his ashes on th 27th of jan. im realli sorry about ur dad nd hope u wil keep using dis website nd il try nd reply to a response u may av nd if u lk on n e of the messages bout n e body even if it is a bruva uncl or son their always something bout suacides nd get councelling or a school counceller coz it helped me afta a wile coz i dnt wnt it but i woz persuaded 2 do it nd i wish i ad dun it a lil bit afta me dad died now so get it it reali dus help 2 talk. me dad dnt tlk a he ad so much rong with hiz anga nd woz an alcohollic nd lk wot he did no1 wnts 2 end up commiting suacide its jus not da way 2 die nd i onli got help coz i dnt want 2 end up da way me dad did. b brave write bk lv danielle xxxxxx
