Subject: identical twin brother

a few weeks 3/7/04 ago i lost my identical twin brother he got hit by a car and died a few hours later, im so lost without him by me all the time we did everything together we have never been apart at any time in our lives i dont know what to do. it will be our 12th birthday on the 15th i cant do this on my own.. i really dont know what to do, it feels like im not me anymore.

i am a twin! i no wen my brother fell off a 6ft iron gate and split his head open, i cried for a long time! that was wot i cud remember!
my mum told me wen we were under 1, my brother was very ill and while he was, i wud not eat or anythin!
there is a special connection between twins and its hard wen sumthin happens to them! i feel ur pain!

Im really sorry you have lost your brother, because you were twins it must be extra hard for you. I lost my Auntie from breast cancer and what I sometimes do is that I talk to her in my head, its not stupid, its a comfort so maybe you could try that with your brother or write a letter to him, just express your feelings. I have identical twin boys and my one son past away at 3 weeks old. I need help understanding how my surviving twin will feel as he grows up knowing he was a twin. What can I do to help him?
