Subject: suicide for my mum too :(

Hey Lauren,
Just wanted to say I'm here, my mum committed suicide in January 2004, its so hard, theres so many unanswered questions. My mum suffered from depression, she'd been in and out of hospital for the last year, and there's been suicide attempts and periods where she'd gone missing all through last year. For me its strange as I know she was ill but still I ask why she did this to us.
Have you had the inquest yet? Had your mum been ill long? I hate the taboo around suicide, so many people don't understand depression/suicide which can be hard to deal with their lack of understanding and questions and attitudes. What the situation like at school, are they supporting you? Have you got exams coming up?
Reply soon, take care, hope you are coping ok, Lizzie xxxx

Subject: a message for lissy

hey lissy, just wanted to say i'm thinking of you and your mum, i can understand how hard it is living with someone who has depression,my mum had it on and off since i was 5 (i'm 17 now). things like watching them being ill, trying to cope... i found people forgot after a while but for us we have to live through it every day. I hope your mum gets through this and that you are doing ok. love, hugs and sunshine crizzielizzie xXx
