Subject: comfort in the shape of a star

i lost my nana in '97 i still find that there are times when i feel down because of it, and i know that it is all right, but i found my own little piece of hope. me and my mum went to where my nana grew up and on the way back home, i noticed a star, it was the only one out in the sky everytime i see it, it reminds me of my nana, it reminds me that she is up there and she is looking out for us.

hi kirsty,i just wanted to say your message was beautiful.i must say it reminded me of the lion king, when simba was talking to mustafa about always being there for each other.i think it is really positive the way you remember your nana.i also think that it would be a fantastic thing if people followed your example.thanks for sharing it.take care

that message i wrote was the day my auntie died, but it made me realise something, as well as my nan being up there she is now with her other two sisters. i now that it can be hard but it make me feel safe. it makes me feel that they are still with me and that they are watching over me and my family, and laughing about us!
