Subject : sudden death of my friend
we finished school on the 7th MArch 2008 and as we were stood in the courtyard, some of my friends came up 2 me and told me that our friend had died about 2 hours ago. Two of my very close friends were about 2 go and see him as he had been off school for the past few days saying that he was ill. We are all still tryin 2 cope with the fact that he is gone and it's been one month today since he left us. No-one no's why he did what he did, but we just all hope that he is being looked after well and that he is happy. I'm finding it hard to cope at the moment and I quite a quiet person, so i find it hard to talk people, but this whole thing reminds me of when my grandad died, he was there one moment but gone the next, has anyone got any ideas as to what i could do to get over the pain?

Its really hard losing a friend!! I really feel for you! I lost my best friend, she was also my cousin... she died in OCT 07 and I am still struggling to cope with it. I find it easier to get on with life - but I do still cry for her!! Time helps but you just have to be patient with yourself!! DONT ever feel bad for how you are feeling because everyone copes with it differently, and you are entitled to grieve!! If you find it hard to talk to friends and family talk to us, that's what we are here for, but don't ever feel alone... and remember your friend is looking down on you now!! xxx

Subject : i know how you feel
: i completely understand how you feel. i lost my best friend suddenly too, but i promise you, over time you learn to cope with the feelings you get about it. i know it may seem really shocking and hard right now, but eventually, you'll be able to look back on the memories you had with your friend in a happier way. it just takes time.
