| Subject: My Dad's Death
It's been 2 months since I encountered the hardest part of my entire life... My g/f, my mom and I were going to bring my dad to the hospital because he was complaining of chest pain, so we slowly made our way to the car outside. Before he could get in the passenger side, he collapsed in the snow. I knew CPR and reacted quickly, so i preformed CPR on my dad for nearly 10 mins until the Paramedics got there... they shocked him etc... but couldn't bring him back. He died that night... in front of me my girlfriend and my mom. I feel empty since that night, i miss him... i'm sorry i couldn't bring you back to life dad.

Subject: you did something
times like that demonstrate how precious and fickle life truly is. I'd venture to say that if your dad was watching over you he'd say that he was proud of you and your actions that day and that he wants you to be happy. happiness isn't always easily attained, but it is worth working toward as long as you still have life left in you!
my father has MS and it has ravaged his body and our family. the best thing we ever did was to join a walk for a cure that was 3 days/50 miles long. I highly recommend getting into something charity related for heart disease. you can't help but be uplifted while surrounded by amazing people that understand. |
