| Subject: hereditry anurysum
my mum died of an anurysum in september06. she was a lovely lady and not yet ready to leave this earth and her 2 beautiful grandchildren(my kiddies). she didnt know she had an anurysum, iam due to have a scan soon to see if i have one. iwonderered if anyone else has discovered they have one through the loss of a parent, i have been told its not hereditry but you never know whats around the corrner. thanks for any information you can pass on. |

my mother had a anurysum in her aorta just above the navel,she was operated on ,but didn't make it throught te surgery,since ten me and 2 of my brother have been found to have an anurysum in the very same place,the doctor said it was inherited ,none of ours are gotten big enough to operate on yet,we are cheched every 6 months.i'm sorry about your mom,but everyone in your family should be checked.i hope tis helps. mark
