hey, my best mate dies 3 months ago in a car crash, all i remember is just feeling numb. I can totally understand how you feel - its like loosing a parent cos u tell them EVERYTHING and spend more time with them than anyone else. Some people forget and other people wanna talk about them to you all the time, just learn to speak about them when YOU feel like it, not anyone else - cos remember, youre grieving - it sounds weird i know but you are and when YOU are ready to talk about them to eveyone - do. I find it quite comforting to sit with friends and discuss the stupid stuff we did - although it does make you cry, its nice to think of the good times and the times they were moody and stroppy - cos thats what u loved them for!!! It is hard and it doesnt get alot easier but dont make urself ill - like they say - its good to talk - even if it is online. Take care and im truly sorry for ur loss. Ames x

I'm sorry for your loss. I've never had a best friend before. But I can tell you that your best friend must have loved you a lot and would want you to keep living for you and themselves. Losing people you love hurts...a lot, but you can only honor their deaths by living yours to the fullest. Your best friend didn't get that chance but you do. I pray that you find comfort in people around you or at least know that strangers care enough for you to try to help you out. It isn't easy, but it will pass. You never forget, but you eventually heal.
