My mother was a great woman strong, courageous and eveything else that a mother should be, but she didn't deserve to die the way she did even tho she had cancer i never thought in a million years she would die in absolute pain clinging onto the bed while vomiting blood for hours and hours. when finnaly my dad made the desicion to turn the machine off because the doctors said she wouldn't last the night so i agreed with him and i have never regreted my father making that desicion because it was terrible and my mum would have wanted my dad too end the pain. the reason i am writing this is because i feel really sad and lonely even tho i have my family round me but i suppose thats what they call grieving anyways i would just like to pay my respects to my mother, I LOVE YOU MUM I WILL BE WITH YOU AGAiN, BUT WHILE I AM STILL BREATHING I WILL TELL THE WORLD WHAT A MOTHER I HAVE LOST REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER GOOD NIGHT GOD BLESS.

Subject: your mum

Hi Darren,
My niece lost her mum very suddenly, like your mum she was in alot of pain as well and a decision was also made to switch off her life support. Its the hardest decision we ever made but the kindest, you could keep them alive for your own selfish reasons because you don't want them to go but you can't keep them in pain.
They are at peace now and suffer no longer, only you suffer now. I was very close to my sister and lived opposite her so it really hurts looking at her old home and knowing she's not there. Life does go on and like you i truly believe we will be reunited again in a better place. Your dedication to your mum is very touching and im sure she knows how you feel and is smothering you in her love everyday. Keep strong and achieve everything in life with your mum in mind, do the things that would make her proud of you and then you'll be proud of yourself as well. I wish you every bit of strength in life and all the very best and your mum is very lucky to have such a loving son like you xxx
