If you’d like to raise some money for RD4U to help us help more children and young people who’ve lost someone close to them, see what you think of these fun ideas.

For starters, when you've finish your Smarties, what about putting five pence pieces in the tube? It all adds up! After Eights each come with a little envelope which you can pin on a noticeboard and when you have a spare 5p, pop it in.

Or - talking of popping - what about a Pop Idol X-Factor talent show,? Or a face-painting session. Or a treasure hunt, fancy dress day, art or craft competition....? You could do this at school, scouts or guides, at home with your friends and family, in your youth group - wherever.

Here at RD4U we always want to be able to support every young person who asks for our help. As well as this website, we like to give young people whatever kind of help they’re looking for - on the phone, by email and in person close to where they live. We are part of Cruse Bereavement Care, and we care about all bereaved people - whoever they are and however and whenever their loved ones died.

ANIMAL MAGIC - a photo competition of the funniest, the most appealing spaniel, gerbil, moggy, parrot - whatever!

AUCTION - get some weird and wonderful stuff, check out the attic, check out the bottom drawers, if you’re good at something, get someone to pay to have your talent at a party or for an event!
