My Nanny

Rebecca

She was only 73 , she was too young to die
We had laughs and sometimes she made me cry
I loved her so much, I really wish we could keep in touch
She was my inspiration,
I really showed her a lot of appreciation
Plus she was one of god’s creation
She had 2 cats, 1 called Thimble
Who was very nimble
The other 1 called Billy who will never get chilly
She loved sewing
Unfortunately she had a man do the mowing
Now she will never repair my ripped jeans
And in the cupboard she had 4 tins of baked beans
Now she is gone forever
Which is a shame cause she was very clever
I wish she could come home
I wanted to buy her an ice-cream cone
I wanted to take her to Italy and Spain
But now this is all in vane
But I didn’t want her to be in pain
In my tub I only had a pound
Which I thought wasn’t very sound
She lived a wonderful life and I am glad I was part of it!
God Bless Nanny, I will miss you!
