this poem is dedicated to my grandad, john. i loved him so much and can never be as close to anyone else as i was to him.

You were taken from me,
i loved you so,
when i sat on your knee
i felt myself glow.
To me, you were the world,
so special in every way,
you were never told enough.
Should of told you everyday
that we all loved you,
friends, family
including me too.

i just want you back,
it's been too long,
not seeing your rain mack
or hearing your song.
Seeing your face
or hearing your voice,
your far away, you won the race
so have fun, rejoice.
Dont worry about us
we have to move on
so wait for us to suss
your not gone for long.

I will see you one day
up in the skies,
there will be laughter and joy
but till then
we must say our goodbyes.
