Mum x

by Rheo

The wind is something I embrace,
When I feel its cold kiss touch my face.
I know you send it from heaven above,
I accept your kiss and send back my love.
The stars lean down to guide me through,
I wouldn't find my way without you.
I'll find repose in new ways,
Though I haven't slept right in days.

Cold nostalgia chills me to the bone,
But when I think of you, I don't feel so alone.
As many times as I blink,
I know that I will think,
As many times of you tonight,
Because when it's dark you make it bright.
I'll watch the night turn light blue,
But it's not the same without you.

My only wish is to have you here,
I don't know whether you're far or near.
I can't believe the time has come,
I can't believe that your the one.
But God has chosen we must accept it,
I wish we saw it coming to intersept it.
We are all here to show our remorse,
And how you've helped on our life course.

Your energy so strong it could fill a hall,
And at least once felt by us all.
If there was just one description,
Your kids came first without restriction.
I know that this came as a shock to most,
But we knew you and for that we boast.
Your beauty was noticed both inside and out,
You were looked up to without a doubt.

We greive alone but today it's together,
Bernice you will last in our hearts forever.
